Bulgaria has the potential to export quality fruits and vegetables to Japan, while the Bulgarian market has a place for Japanese manufacturers of agricultural machinery. This was announced by the Bulgarian Prime Minister Vasil Grudev, after a meeting with the Japanese Ambassador to Bulgaria, Takashi Koizumi.
They noted that the relationship between both countries in the field of agriculture is excellent and that there are a number of options available to increase trade. One of them is the cultivation of soybeans, which will receive additional CAP support in this period. Other products Japan has shown its interest in are rose oil and aronia berries.
