S Group launches drive-thru click & collect

Finnish S Group co-operative, HOK-Elanto has launched drive-thru click & collect in partnership with Digital Foodie, creator of the Foodie.fm platform.

Latest development follows other online innovations
In September, HOK-Elanto launched a new click & collect service at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, also in collaboration with Digital Foodie. Read more about this development here. During the same month, the co-operative also announced plans to open its first dark store in Finland.

Exciting development for the wider market
Although online development is still in the early stages, S Group and Kesko plan to grow their proposition. S Group offers its online grocery service in partnership with Foodie.fm in Greater Helsinki and also in Oulu and Kuopio, Finland’s fifth and eighth most populous cities respectively. The retailer has announced plans to launch the service in Tampere and Lahti also. Meanwhile, Kesko’s online grocery service only operates in Greater Helsinki.
