Netherlands: Drone flight over trade cluster Barendrecht

Industrial park Oost is located along the boundary with Ridderkerk east of the railway track bundle Rotterdam-Dordrecht, in the Netherlands. Previously, a large horticultural auction was held at this site. Now, tens of internationally operating fresh produce trading houses with accompanying fresh-logistics are located here. The image is therefore dominated by cold stores that have rows of loading docks, and many foreign lorries. The expansion of the fresh produce cluster is taking place in the area of Ridderkerk, in Nieuw-Reijerwaard. Restructuring is anticipating new allocations, growth and creating optimum accessibility for large and heavy lorries.
