Crimea opens its doors to Bahraini investors
Georgi Muradov, deputy head of the Crimean government, made a statement on Wednesday 7 December, in which he reported that the Russian authorities have sent a formal invitation to a delegation of Bahraini entrepreneurs, which is expected to visit the country during the next year.
Muradov told Sputnik News that "we will send them an invitation through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a visit in the near future, and I believe that Bahraini entrepreneurs will pay us a visit by the end of the spring, in the months of May and June next year."
The Russian official stressed that they (Bahrainis) are willing to invest in the Crimea, especially in the tourism sector, construction and agriculture (fruits, vegetables and grains).
Not long ago, a Crimean delegation visited the Kingdom of Bahrain and was received by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. During that visit, the delegation also held a meeting with the head of the Bahraini parliament.
