You can now select which 'local' news you want at the top of the news feed by selecting the continent of your preference, but don't worry the rest of the global news is still there!
To help ease you into our new format, we thought it might be helpful to give you a little explanation of how it all works:
When you visit the website you can choose your default continent by clicking the coloured tab at the top of the screen. You will see a map of the continents, just click on the one you would like. This will bring the top news from that continent to the top of the website. You easily switch between continents by clicking the button and changing continents.
Choosing the continent means that only the top news will change, the news in the sectors is still the best from around the world. The Global Focus and Special sections will be the same for each website. Under the Global Focus and Special sections you will see the news from around the world. You can still choose whether to view this worldwide news sorted per sector or per continent.
In the past you could choose which sector (bananas, vegetables) from the toolbar at the top of the website, this function is still there but is a drop down menu. When you click on NEWS, you can then choose which sector to read.
As a global news provider we are continually striving to provide the best, most up to date news for our readers. We also want to present it to you it in the best format possible, this why we have tailored the news so that you can choose what you see first.
