Mushroom council and Martin’s® Potato Rolls partner for blogger promotion

Martin’s Famous Potato Rolls and Bread and the Mushroom Council have teamed up for a blogger tailgating promotion featuring a new Mushroom Blend Meatball Slider.

The meatball is a mix of ground meat with finely chopped mushrooms, which takes on the texture of the meat, also known as The Blend. The meatball patty is then smothered in marinara sauce and Italian cheese, in a Martin’s Party Potato Roll. 

“We are excited to partner with Martin’s Potato Rolls for this tailgating promotion. It helps the Council promote The Blend and Martin’s to promote their potato rolls. Retailers can also cross promote both mushrooms and Martin’s Potato Rolls at the store level,” told Bart Minor, president of the Mushroom Council.

The featured blogger site, the Self-Proclaimed Foodie developed by Krissy Allori, also features a recipe round-up of other tailgating recipes and ideas. A link to both Martin’s Potato Rolls and the Mushroom Council’s Blenditarian website can be accessed through the blog at selfproclaimedfoodie.com

Martin’s also featured this recipe using The Blend and several other tailgating-style mushroom dishes on their own blog, highlighting September as National Mushroom Month.
