"Compared with the Kyoho variety, which is also popular on the market, Shine-Muscat has three main advantages: Firstly, it can be easily cultivated, has a long fruiting period of up to 2-3 months. Secondly, no cracking, high yield and no degranulation. Thirdly, it has strong resistance to white rot, Downy Mildew and Powdery Mildew."

"Shine-Muscat in Qingdao is available on the market in late September, the season lasts about 2 months. This year, total production of Shine-Muscat has increased, but the quality of Shine-Muscat many farmers planted is not ideal, the fruit does not, and skin color is not right, which is mainly caused by old fashoined planting technology. Nevertheless, the market price is satisfactory due to the strong demand, the current price is slightly higher than the same period last year."
