A natural cross between kale and Brussels sprouts, Kalettes, has opened a pop-up shop at Hoxton's Railway Arch, Geffrye Street, London till Sunday 3 December. The brand gave away free food samples, including a smoothie, a soup and a stir fry.

Walmart India signed 20 new sites for new stores for 2018
Walmart India runs 21 Best Price wholesale stores in nine states. "As we speak, we have signed nearly 20 sites as well and we are well on our way to be on meeting the commitment and targets which we have," Walmart India President and CEO Krish Iyer said. Co-op: 1st British supermarket to start selling food past its best before date
The Co-op stores in its East of England division will sell its ‘Best Before’ date products in 125 outlets at a nominal mark down price of just 10p each. Co-op hopes to save at least two metric tonnes of food from being wasted every year just from its 125 stores.

Online partnership expanded by Lidl US
Lidl US has expanded its online delivery partnership with Shipt to cover more than 500,000 households, following the launch of a one store test in October. The expansion of the online delivery pilot with Shipt comes as Lidl hits 50 stores in the US, having opened its first stores in June, according to igd.
US: Supervalu primary supplier and service provider for Marsh
Indianapolis-based Marsh Supermarkets Inc. has signed a long-term contract that will make Minneapolis-based Supervalu Inc. the primary grocery wholesaler for its stores. Under the agreement, Supervalu will supply Marsh with general grocery products, produce, meat, seafood, frozen foods, and dairy, deli and bakery items.
