In order to build a modern fruit plant, it is necessary to have a support and/or protection system made with the most modern materials to ensure the greatest efficiency. Contec company participated in Interpoma to promote its equipment for the construction of pre-stressed reinforced concrete poles.
Pre-stressed reinforced concrete poles
The Contec founder Fabrizio Raccanello, “Today, it is impossible to farm fruits without a protection. The key part of every web plant is the pole. Pre-stressed reinforced concrete poles are the most stable, the most efficient, adaptable and durable. We manufacture all the technology necessary to build the poles. We deliver our services globally. At international fairs, like Interpoma, we have the chance to promote ourselves on a global level”.

The owner, “Together with our partners Silvano Baccega and Giorgio Tonin, we were the first who introduced the pre-stressing technique. Thanks to our great experience, we can tailor solutions to our clients in order to ensure them the best profitability”.
The pre-stressing is a technique that involves the artificial creation of a tension within the structure of the materials – especially in reinforced concrete – in order to improve the endurance of the structures. The pre-stressing is used to compensate for the low tensile strength of the concrete.

The manager Mataoui, “We really care for our labourers’ safety. The design, the manufacturing and the management must revolve around safety. This is the primary aspect. Also, the designing and manufacturing of our plants are 100% made in Italy”.
Contec can rely on a network of partner companies for the support in the delivery of the plants.
The poles have a trapezoidal section and their measures depend on the load they support. However, 4 or 5 are the most used measures, on average. Also, the instruments for building poles are specific for each measure.
