A few days ago the marketing of green and red chicory, artichoke hearts and Brussels sprouts, produced in Italy by Sipo, began.

"These are particularly sought-after products grown according to precise specifications by our trusted producers. We only use vegetables produced in Italy, without importing them," explained sales representatives Luca Pollarini and Francesca De Francesco.
Artichoke heart
The production areas for artichokes are located in Sardinia, in the provinces of Cagliari, Oristano and Sassari. "Artichoke hearts are very appreciated. The processing is carried out directly at the production company, in order to guarantee maximum freshness. Within 36 hours, the product goes from the field to the retail counter. Requests sometimes exceed availability. We believe that Sardinian producers are among the best in Italy, for this product. Artichoke hearts are packaged in filmed R-Pet trays".
Brussels sprouts
"This reference is growing strongly. Production takes place in Italy, in Piedmont, and the large-scale retail trade appreciates domestic rather than foreign origin. We make trays of 250-370 grams and we are conducting research, together with a seed company, to cultivate new varieties that will allow us to extend the production cycle".

Cicorino, both red and green, is produced in Campania and marketed either as fresh-cut or as ready-to-eat products. "The fresh-cut is available both bulk and in 250-gram trays. The ready-to-eat product is offered in 200-gram trays".
