WAPA releases apple and pear stocks in June for Northern Hemisphere

The Northern Hemisphere apple and pear stocks have been released for June of 2021 by WAPA. According to the report, countries like Poland and Italy have moved over half of their remaining apple stocks compared to the stocks at the end of April. For pears, the Netherlands has about three times the amount in stock than Belgium, with Spain coming in at third place. 

In the US, about 530,000 tons of apples are still in stock, With Red Delicious still being the variety that is most in stock. Gala comes in second. For both apples and pears, the US had more volumes in stock last year compared to June 2021.
