The AMHPAC Annual Convention in its XIII edition was held with great success, from September 1 to 3 in Los Cabos, BCS, Mexico. 300 people participated in this event, representatives of 142 companies, which greatly exceeded the goal set by the national organization.
Without a doubt, there was great expectation among the participants for an emblematic event of the industry that for more than 10 years had been carried out uninterrupted, but had to be canceled in 2020. The foregoing due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19 that has affected the world and among its consequences had prevented the realization of face-to-face events.
During the Congress, all the necessary measures were taken so that the representatives of the companies felt comfortable and safe, allowing all activities to be carried out without setbacks.

Ordinary General Assembly of Members
As is tradition, the first activity, prior to the Congress, was the Ordinary General Assembly of Members where the decision was made to renew the National Board of Directors of AMHPAC for the period 2021-2023, made up of:

Meetings with lawyers specialized in the Suspension Agreement
After this, the lawyers in charge of attending the negotiations of the Suspension Agreement for the Mexican Tomato, held an informative session for the exporters affiliated to the AMHPAC.
On behalf of the Aguirre, Aguirre y Asociados Law Firm, Lic. Dolores Aguirre and Lic. Gastón Becerril participated; while on behalf of the United States, Akin Gump: Stephen Kho, Yujin McNamara, Devin Sikes, Brian Pomper and Roger Murry were present.
It should be noted that the lawyers attended the queries of about 40 companies in private meetings.
Inaugural act
The Inaugural Act of the AMHPAC Annual Congress in Los Cabos was held with great influx. The event counted the participation in the presidium of the following officials and representatives of sister organizations:

In his message to the attendees, Engineer Guerrero mentioned that agricultural processes must be transformed to promote optimal growth of the Industry.
He also said that protected agriculture, which today is present in the 32 states of the Mexican Republic with an area of more than 42 thousand hectares, also allows to produce food under unfavorable conditions and still produce food that meets the highest standards quality.
