Average wholesale prices of bananas imported from Latin America stand at €106 per 100 kgs in the Netherlands, roughly the same as the prices in Poland.
In France, they sold for slightly more at €110 per 100 kgs, but prices in Germany were substantially higher, at €121. The average wholesale price of yellow bananas produced in the EU, as a three-week average over all member states stood at €147 in that week.
