Tanzania has followed Kenya in exporting avocados to China. It becomes the second African nation with market access for this popular fruit.
The deal with Tanzania follows after a state visit by President Samia Suluhu Hassan to China early last month (November 2022).
China promised to import $300 billion worth of goods from Africa to balance trade between them and the various countries on the continent by 2025.
