Honduras gets ready to ship 20 containers of melon to Taiwan

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) has reported that, after a Taiwanese Technical Commission approved the shipments, Honduras is getting ready to export 20 containers of melon to Taiwan.

The commission visited the Santa Rosa farm of the Agrolibano company and its facilities in Choluteca, where they had the opportunity to inspect the production, quarantine, packaging, and cold rooms areas.

“As far as we know, we are ready. Senasa, through the Directorate of Plant Health and Safety, has been accompanying the entire process to meet the requirements and to ensure that there are no problems in this export process, which we hope will begin on December 20," stated Angel Emilio Aguilar, general director of Senasa.
