Demand for kiwifruit has not dropped with inflation. Sales got off to a slow start at the beginning of the season, but by mid-January a recovery was seen". This is stated by Massimo Ceradini, whose company is a specialist: Ceradini Group's kiwis are shipped everywhere, mainly Europe, but also to India, the Middle East, the United States and Canada.
Kingfruit (Italy) and Fruitproject (Greece), companies belonging to the Ceradini Group will participate again this year at Fruitlogistica (Hall 2.2, stand A-21 and Hall 8.2 stand A40 ). "We are optimistic for the rest of the campaign, because the product is preserving well, guaranteeing excellent organoleptic quality. Despite the fact that the caliber is not always high, both for Italian and Greek productions, we are able to distribute all calibers without difficulty, thanks to our wide range of customers. Each customer has its own requirements and we go out to meet the demands of each one anywhere in the world," he says.
Massimo Ceradini and Christos Doulgeris
"We continuously invest in both Italy and Greece - adds Christos Doulgeris, - creating new packaging centres to meet our customers' needs, but also modern sorting and packaging machines to guarantee quality".
"Satisfaction is the basis of the relationship with our customers. Our historic Italian company has been the driving force behind Fruitproject, which this year is consolidating a result beyond expectations for the fourth season, generated precisely by importing Kingfruit's know-how into the Greek state. The relationship is one of short supply chain, with carefully selected producers who, through us, reach the end customer: partnerships are the key to our success."
With Fruit Logistica just around the corner: "I invite everyone to visit us and meet our staff. We look forward to a fruitful conversation with all of you at stands Hall 2.2, stand A-21 and Hall 8.2 stand A40," he concludes.
