Special recognition for Dutch “company with a family”

In honor of its 100th anniversary, the company, NNZ, has been awarded the title of 'Koninklijk' (Royal) by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander. In front of colleagues, relatives, and close family, CEO Len Boot was presented with the certificate by René Paas, the King's Commissioner for the province of Groningen, on February 6, 2023.

CEO Len Boot, third generation in the family business: "Everyone at NNZ feels proud and honored that from now on we can use the name 'Royal NNZ Group bv'. The privilege of using the title 'Royal' crowns 100 years of family entrepreneurship, consideration for others, and dedication in every aspect."

Royal title
The honorary title of 'Koninklijk' symbolises the King's respect, appreciation, and trust in the recipient. A company, association, institution, or foundation can apply for this title, if it has existed for at least 100 years. Its directors must behave impeccably at all times, as must the company itself. Companies that receive the title may incorporate the Royal Dutch Crown in their logo.
