Since January 17, Mexico shipped a record 130,000 tons of avocado to the US for the Super Bowl.
The Association of Avocado Growers, Packers, and Exporters of Mexico, chaired by Jose Luis Gallardo, said that the 57th edition of the Super Bowl would greatly help project the Mexican avocado at the international level.
Mexico is the leading avocado exporter in the world with an annual export volume of 1,676,000 tons.
