Around 36,000 trade visitors attended the double exhibition BioFach/Vivaness 2023 in Nuremberg (Compared to 2022, when there were around 24,000 and in 2019, 51,488). According to the management of NürnbergMesse, it was "remarkable how diverse, inspiring, solution-oriented and forward-looking this industry is."

Exhibitors from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy and Poland told us that, despite the subdued mood, they enjoyed high-quality discussions as well as a reunion with long-standing cooperation partners. Accordingly, the organic sector is also cautiously optimistic about the future, as one northern German company told us. An import company, on the other hand, reported to us on request that the international visitors from African and Asian countries had been particularly lacking. All in all, however, they are positive.
