Ocean Network Express (ONE), a Singapore-based container line, has announced plans to cooperate with Sony Network Communications Europe to create and implement a smart container solution across its entire worldwide fleet.
ONE anticipated that the tech-enabled containers would give the business more knowledge about its box fleet. According to ONE's statement, the data will enable improved container visibility, quicker and more proactive decision-making, and more, allowing for more effective container mobility.
According to ONE, its customers will gain from smart container solutions since they will have access to real-time updates during a shipment's route and more accurate transportation data enabling simple, open communication with key stakeholders.
