The Nature Fresh Farms team is Changing the Flavor of Fresh, highlighting the flavor, quality, and sustainable fresh offerings greenhouse-grown can bring to market at this year's Southern Exposure show that will be held in Orlando, March 2 - 4.
"We'll showcase our snacking tomato offerings, particularly our Hiiros™ Tomatoes and Yoom®," says Zanelle Hough, director of sales. "We continue to see demand for elevated snacking tomatoes increase as consumers seek varieties that offer consistent quality and flavor. Both Hiiros and Yoom offer this."
"We'll be showcasing our snacking tomato offerings, particularly our Hiiros Tomatoes and Yoom," says Zanelle Hough.
Recently recognized with an Award of Distinction at the 2023 PAC Global Awards, Hiiros Tomatoes, a variety originally bred for the Japanese market which views exceptional produce as a gift of honor, are grown from the finest seeds, offering a rich umami flavor with a distinguishing level of sweetness that adds depth and complexity of flavor.
"We are committed to investing in greenhouse technology that will continue to innovate the industry," said Hough, adding that it is through this innovation that Nature Fresh Farms has been able to provide the market with strong flavor and high-quality produce year-round.
Hiiros Tomatoes have a rich umami flavor with a distinguishing level of sweetness that adds depth and complexity of flavor.
Uniquely positioned to unite health and tomato enthusiasts, the Yoom boasts an intensity and range of flavor from savory to fresh, with a hint of plum-like sweetness while also being a powerhouse of nutrients. With high levels of antioxidants, anthocyanin and lycopene (indicative in its distinguishing deep purple hue), Vitamins A and C, magnesium, potassium, and a good source of fiber, Yoom is one choice for health-minded individuals looking to boost their nutritional intake.
Organic greenhouse expansion
In addition to highlighting its tomato lineup, Nature Fresh Farms is excited to speak about its 45 acres of organic greenhouse strawberries coming online this fall. "Currently, we are the only greenhouse growing organic strawberries in North America," says Hough. "This allows us to be uniquely well positioned to fill the gap in supply, addressing the needs of retailers and consumers who are seeking consistency in supply of quality, flavorful berries."
The team will be at booth #1015 during the upcoming SEPC Southern Exposure tradeshow in Orlando, Florida, March 2-4, 2023.
