For South African importer Niccolo Gericke, Italian technologies are of a high standard, which is why his company has been working with construction companies in Italy for 65 years. 'Southtrade, which is based in Cape Town, serves not only the industry in South Africa,' says the director, "but we also have customers in neighbouring countries.
'We have dealers all over South Africa, a warehouse where we keep the machinery and spare parts, plus several workshops where we do after-sales service.'
Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Botswana are other countries where the company resells Italian technologies.
In recent weeks a delegation from Macfrut visited the company in South Africa. "I will certainly be present again at the Macfrut exhibition," Gericke reassured, "because I consider it a fundamental event to meet all the manufacturers and those who innovate. over the years a relationship of mutual trust has been created, which is yielding reciprocal results".

Renzo Piraccini, President of Macfrut, underlines: "Niccolo Gericke is just one example of foreign buyers who will be present at the show, from 3 to 5 May. But we will have buyers from all over the world also thanks to the dozens of missions we have carried out in as many countries of the different continents".
