The pineapple of the Dorium Tropical Gold brand, originally from the Augro Fresh Panama company, was awarded in Spain the 2023 Taste of the Year award, a seal that, as explained by the National Director of Export Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MICI), Eric Dormoi, is a benchmark of Spain's food sector and the only one in which consumers reward retail products.
It should be noted that, according to the latest perception study carried out by the award organizers, 67% of consumers prefer to buy the 'Taste of the Year' award-winning products over other products with other seals, confirming that this award is an effective marketing and sales tool, as well as a key incentive for food products.
"We at the government support our exporters, giving them support and technical assistance so that they can enhance their competitiveness. This type of news encourages us to continue promoting projects that allow new companies to excel in these awards and in the international market in general,” Dormoi stated.
