FirstFruits Farms has introduced the construction of an advanced cherry production line at its facility located in Prescott, Washington.
The production line will feature advanced technology offering total automation which results in the ability to provide customers with high-quality fruit.
“We are constantly looking to improve our operations and way of business, and this new cherry facility only strengthens our offerings as a company,” says Chuck Zeutenhorst, president of FirstFruits Marketing.
The advanced cherry production line will be built in Prescott, Washington.
The solutions crafted by UNITEC will be equipped to run both Rainier and Dark Sweet cherry varieties through the production line in conjunction with packaging abilities including clamshells, pouch bags and top seal. This streamlined equipment will allow the company to significantly increase production volumes. The project is scheduled to be completed by April 2023, making it fully functional for the upcoming cherry season.
