In week 11, Peru exported 1,072 tons of blueberries, i.e. 20% more than in the same week last year, which brings the cumulative total of the current campaign (two weeks before its end) to 331,580 tons, that is, 29% more than in the previous campaign, according to Fresh Fruit.
The main destinations were the United States, with 717 tons and accounting for 67% of all exports; followed by the United Kingdom, with 156 tons and a 15% share; and the Netherlands, with 148 tons and a 14% share.
So far in the campaign, the three main destination countries for the Peruvian blueberry have been the United States, with a 55% share (183,907 tons and a 27% increase over the previous campaign); the Netherlands, with a 25% share (82,202 tons and a 39% increase); and China, with a 12% share (39,119 tons and a 42% increase).
These 3 destinations account for 92% of the volumes shipped by Peru in the entire campaign.
