Affected by continuous rainy weather and lower temperatures in large areas, the prices and sales of most fruits on the market have declined in the past two weeks. The weather gradually stabilized in the latter part of this week, and the market improved. On the other hand, some merchants said that due to the decrease in the arrival of large-scale products such as Chilean prunes recently, some fruit buyers from other provinces have reduced their on-site purchases, which has affected the sales of other fruits.
Chilean plums are in season, and among them, the Sweet Mary, which has just been on the market, is the most popular. For other imported fruits, the market and sales of imported grapes were not satisfactory last week. This week, the sales gradually improved, and the prices rose slightly. The merchants estimated that it was related to the demand for fruits during the Tomb-sweeping Day and the better weather. Both Egyptian oranges and American oranges have lowered their prices. Taking American oranges as an example, small fruits that previously cost more than RMB 400 per box now sell for about RMB 380. On the other hand, the arrival of imported avocados this week is relatively less, and the shortage in the market makes the price relatively high.

For example, the supply of branded products with a price of ¥210/box earlier was sold at a higher price due to the less supply. After the buyer purchased it, the sales were not good due to high prices, so the price was gradually lowered to the current ¥170/box with mild sales. Another brand with a relatively low price is sold smoothly.
