Sormac expands delivery programme by taking over Felcon machines

Sormac B.V., a manufacturer of machines for the processing of fresh vegetables from Venlo, has reached agreement with Felcon B.V., established in Everdingen, regarding the takeover of the product portfolio that focuses on vegetable processing. Felcon B.V., previously known as Feltracon B.V., has been focusing for many years on the development of vegetable and fruit processing machines.

Felcon has become a well-known name with its vertical centrifuges for drying hard and robust vegetables such as iceberg lettuces, cabbage, carrots and onions. This machine is the perfect supplement to the Sormac programme for drying vegetables. The programme now offers all drying solutions for vegetables ranging from basket centrifuges, vertical centrifuges and horizontal centrifuges to air drying tunnels.

Roy Lemmen, Sormac Commercial Director: “With the Felcon machines, we fill a gap in our delivery programme that will now be even more complete. Drying vegetables is our area of expertise and, with this addition, we can offer the best solution to every customer for every product.”

The sale, production and service of the machines that focus on vegetable processing will be transferred to Sormac's head office in Venlo.
