2023 Guangzhou (Jiangnan) International Fruit and Vegetable Industry Expo kicks off

The three-day "Food2China Expo and 2023 Guangzhou (Jiangnan) International Fruit and Vegetable Industry Expo" kicked off today (September 21) at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Expo. The exhibition hall brings together various brands and companies in the Chinese fruit industry, regional fruit brands, and international pavilions from different countries and regions.

The exhibition also held theme forums and promotional sessions. The first-day's meeting included the first China Facility Fruit and Vegetable Industry Conference, a procurement matchmaking meeting, and fruit and vegetable promotion meetings for various regional brands. The key forums on the next day will include the International Fruit and Vegetable Import and Export Conference.

Many companies show up with a variety of main fruit products for brand display. Equipment suppliers serving fresh products also display their current main products.

Among the foreign pavilions, some exhibitors made their first appearance at the China Fruit Exhibition. For example, pineapple planting companies from Malaysia have shown interest and confidence in entering the Chinese market. There are also fruit companies from Thailand hoping to find dealers at the exhibition.

The Chilean cherry production season is about to start, and the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association (ASOEX) is doing a "pre-holiday warm-up" for the new season. It is reported that the first batch of air-shipped cherries will arrive in China at the end of October, and production is expected to increase this year.

Among the professional visitors to the exhibition, in addition to wholesalers, there are also many e-commerce, channel dealers and retailers. Some newer fruit brand exhibitors said that the diversity of visitors helped them promote their brands and connect with the market.
