At FreshPlaza.com we start the new year with a celebration. All of our websites have undergone a restyling. We've tailored the new website more to benefit the user experience. From now on, it will be possible to open and close the sectors under the top 10 texts. For example, if you only want news about citrus, refrigeration and retail visible on the website, you can close the other sectors on the right side of each sector.
In this new form, all photos on the homepage will be placed in the same format (in the ratio 1200x800, or 3:2). The specials have also been given a more prominent place at the top of the website. Additionally, we've equalized the size of the banners on the right side of the website.
Another development is that, stubborn as we are, we'll stop promoting our articles via social media. We believe in the reach of our own newsletters. FreshPlaza.com sends its six newsletters to more than 161,000 subscribers every day. This has resulted in more than 1,400,000 page views per month in recent months. In combination with our international FreshPlaza colleagues and horticultural newsletters, the global reach is actually many times greater.
