Syngenta Vegetable Seeds will be featured in two episodes of RFD-TV’s “Where the Food Comes From,” hosted by Chip Carter. Set in the backdrop of the Central Sand region of Wisconsin at peak production time, the episodes highlight two generations of sweet corn farmers and their journeys.
Farmers that will be featured in this series include:
- Weston Hannan, a 12-year-old farm stand owner, who discovered at an early age his passion for growing, along with a “sweetness” for TripleSweet sweet corn.
- Bob Heath, an experienced farmer who works side by side with his daughter, Heidi Heath, to run Heath Farms for the past fifty years.

Though separated by years, these farmers share parallels in their stories - both with non-farming backgrounds but inspired to farm and provide quality products to their markets. See them meet up for the first time to share the experiences they’ve had with farming, or as Weston would say, “the bug you’re just born with.”
These features also highlight how Syngenta supports its range of fresh market sweet corn customers with proven varieties that not only yield but provide the desired eating experience that brings people back for more. With more than 80 years of experience in sweet corn breeding, Syngenta is dedicated to research and improvement in this crop.
Today the company offers varieties in varying levels of sweetness, color options, and more to suit palates around the world.
