Guangxi Mingming Orchard Group recently shipped almost 50 tons of orah mandarins to Canada from Shenzhen Port in Guangdong Province. The company, which began exporting to Canada four years ago, has become a direct supplier for Costco in Canada. The chairman of the group, Ji Sufeng, stated that their orah mandarins are increasingly gaining recognition in the Canadian market.

Ji outlined North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia as the company's primary international markets for fruit exports. The company exported nearly 1,200 tons of orah mandarins in 2023 and has plans to increase this to 4,000 tons in 2024. The company recently exported two containers of the fruit to Thailand and one to Dubai.

Orah mandarins, originating from Israel, have been grown in Wuming District, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region since 2012. The district, which boasts over 30,600 hectares of orah mandarin production area, produced over 1.5 million tons of the fruit in 2023. The district has an annual processing capacity of over 1 million tons of orah mandarins.
