In addition to yesterday's photo report of the fruit and vegetable trade, our international FreshPlaza, AGF.nl, and horticultural editors were also busy during the last Fruit Logistica. An overview of the mood on the international stands could already be read yesterday. It was particularly striking that the overall trend was positive due to the greater crowds, but there was less enthusiasm among French, Spanish, and British companies than in previous years. In addition, several countries appeared happy with the relocation during the 2024 edition of the fair.
The fair organization reports a number of more than 66,000 visitors from 145 countries. In addition, there were 2,770 exhibitors of 94 different nationalities. "Many visitors and exhibitors we spoke to were very happy to be back at Fruit Logistica," says event director Kai Mangelberger. "That is a very satisfying result for us, which makes us even more determined to build on that success. Especially in these challenging times, in-person conversations are more important than ever."
