MedFEL 2024 is finally underway! The 16th edition of the famous event in Perpignan opened its doors this week. With a redesigned layout and packed aisles, MedFEL is in full swing this year. Nearly 5,000 visitors are expected by the organizers (supermarket chains, retailers, wholesalers, caterers, processors...). 250 exhibitors are also registered, with +23% more producers than in 2023, 6 exhibition sectors, 15 conferences and round tables, as well as the traditional summer fruit harvest forecasts. This year, the event is also opening up to the 4th and 5th categories, and expanding the range and variety of produce on offer.

As always, trade, trends and markets will punctuate the two-day event. The themes for 2024 include climate change, artificial intelligence, organic and green production.
This year's international event counts 10 exhibiting countries, +15% of international exhibitors and 65 visiting countries. In 2024, there will be a Greek pavilion, Algeria will also be represented, with its Ministry of Commerce and Export Promotion, as well as Italy with the MIN market of Turin. Companies from Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Morocco and New Zealand will also be present this year.
