Keith Wilson retires from Cecelia Packing Corporation

After 14 years with Cecelia Packing, and a lifetime of dedicated service in the Ag industry, the company is announcing the retirement of Mr. Keith Wilson, Sales Manager, Cecelia Packing Corporation, effective 5/16/24. "While we wish him well in his next adventures, we will miss him greatly," a release states.

After graduating in 1981 from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Ag Business Management, Keith began his career as a field inspector with The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P) Fresno based procurement office. Keith also shared some time working with the A&P Salinas procurement office. He traveled throughout Washington, Oregon, Arizona and California inspecting the gamut of fruits and vegetables. After a few years of inspecting, Keith was promoted to Buyer and then finally Director of the Fresno Procurement Office. During his time with A&P, Keith traveled for business throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. His time with A&P set him up for a lifetime career in the produce business. Keith still maintains contact and has always appreciated the friendship of his former co-workers from the A&P Fresno procurement office.

After A&P, Wilson worked for Shurfine International, Sunkist Growers, HMC Group, Sunny Cove Citrus, Flavor Tree Company, then finally Cecelia Packing. During his time in the produce business, Keith met many great people. A few of his mentors include the late Bob Sanford; Ken Green; Tom Cignarella; the late Doug Hunter; John McGuigan; Rick Bravo and Michael Hollister.

With Wilson leaving the company, Cecelia Packing hired Dominic DeNatale. Dominic comes to Cecelia Packing with years of experience in the produce business. He is excited at the prospect of working to expand the Cecelia citrus program, while maintaining relationships with the company's current customers. Dominic will work with Allison Garza in Sales to continue to provide the great service that Cecelia Packing customers have come to expect.

Wishing Keith well in his retirement.
