Organic berry sales continue to climb

U.S. organic berry sales increased six percent in 2023 and have topped organic fresh produce sales according to OPN's State of Organic Produce. "We recognized the importance of the organic category years ago and have steadily invested in it ever since," said Nick Chappell, director of sales at California Giant Berry Farms. "We're thrilled to return to the Organic Produce Summit to showcase our year-round supply of organic berries that represent the highest standards for quality."

A longtime exhibitor of the annual event, Watsonville-based California Giant's global family of people passionate about delivering quality berries is enlivened at the prospect of gathering at the Organic Produce Summit once again, and amid peak Pacific Northwest blueberry season.

"We recognized the importance of the organic category years ago and have steadily invested in it ever since," said Nick Chappell.

At the show, attendees are invited to visit the California Giant Berry Farms at booth #503. There, they can learn more about the company's vision to provide high-quality berries most sustainably and about its organic and conventional offerings, promotable volume marketing opportunities, and more.

"We look forward to connecting with industry leaders and showcasing our organic berries at the show," added Chappell.
