Andalusia has led international exports of fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries in the first quarter of 2024, a period in which the region has concentrated 80% of international sales of these products.
With these sales between January and March, the Andalusian community has reached 567,5 million euros of the total of 710 million that have been collected throughout Spain, the Board reported in a statement.

In the case of fresh Andalusian blueberries, the growth in the value of exports has been 45%, since sales in international markets have reached 99,3 million euros in the first quarter of 2024 while the previous year they were around the 68,4 million.
In addition, Andalusia has also concentrated more than 2024% of the exports of cucumbers, avocados and eggplants in the first quarter of 80.
International sales of fresh or chilled Andalusian cucumber during these first months of the year have reached 292,1 million euros, a figure that represents more than 80% of the total in Spain (364,2 million).
In the case of exports of fresh or dried avocados from Andalusia, between January and March 2024, they have exceeded 122,7 million euros, which represents 83% of the value achieved by these transactions in the country, which have been close to 148 million.
Sales of fresh or chilled Andalusian eggplants in foreign markets have reported more than 57,8 million euros, an amount that represents 80,2% of Spain's total exports of this food in the first quarter of 2024 (72,2 millions of euros).
