Women-led date farm started out of a passion for Medjool dates

Nature's Anthem from Coachella Valley is thrilled to be exhibiting at the OPS. The company will exhibit at the show, July 10-11 in Monterey, California, at #116 tabletop at the show.

The company began out of a passion to bring Coachella Valley's Medjool dates to customers all around the country. When founder Alya Haq left her childhood home in the Middle East, she could never have imagined that Medjools could grow so close to her new home in Southern California.

Medjool dates are an ancient fruit that is being rediscovered as a snack option and cooking ingredient.

Today, Nature's Anthem's experienced and close-knit team tends to its date trees year-round, ensuring that the best of the crop gets harvested. At the core of its business are love, care, and attention to detail. Haq says the company takes care of the land it grows on as it takes care of consumers and brings them dates that support well-being and promote happier, healthier communities. Medjool dates are an ancient fruit that is being rediscovered as a snack option and cooking ingredient.

The team with Nature's Anthem–one of the few women-led date farms in the Coachella Valley–hopes to connect with buyers and customers and share a little about how it farms its organic Medjool dates and what makes the company different. This includes the fact that its ranches are located in the warmer regions of the Coachella Valley desert making it an ideal place to grow a perfect date and that the company carefully tends to its ranches and trees to ensure size and optimum taste. It also replants and saves water so that the company is part of the solution in protecting the environment, not part of the problem.
