Chinese consumers now have access to Pakistani mangoes, following the arrival of 800 cartons of the fruit in China on Monday. The shipment, which weighs over 3 tons, is a collaboration between Zhitong Batie Ltd in Guangzhou, China, and MERA P C Solutions in Pakistan.
The mangoes are being sold through various e-commerce platforms in China, including JD.com's Pakistan Pavilion, Douyin shops, and WeChat accounts. This marks the first batch of mangoes imported by Zhitong Batie company this year, priced at 168 yuan per carton, express delivery included. Each carton contains 4 to 4.2 kilograms of mangoes. According to sources, "Pakistani mangoes are grown naturally, using traditional methods and naturally fermented fertilizers without artificial growth enhancers or bagging."
