Ignacio Ugarte has been named commercial director for export grapes at Vanguard Group International. Since joining the company in 2021, Ugarte has been a key figure in its purchasing and sales department for South America. He has successfully led the sale of fresh fruit, both from its production and from third-party producers in Peru, Chile, and Argentina, to markets in Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Additionally, he has been responsible for the daily relationship with various suppliers of table grapes, citrus, and mango from Chile, Peru, and Argentina.
