Maraldi Sementi is the organizer of a technical week dedicated to the visit of onion experimental fields. The Maraldi Onion Field Days (29 July - 3 August) will be held at the Ghini company in Imola (Bologna). Italian, European and international distributors, growers and producers are invited.

Delegations from the United States, China, Hungary, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Slovakia and Turkey will be present. Golden, red, white and shallot onions will be tested in the field in the different early, medium and late segments. They will be compared with the most popular varieties used in Italy.
There will be 23 commercial and pre-commercial varieties (plots about 25 meters long) and 30 experimental varieties (plots about 10 meters long).
