Stevan Budi Susanto - Citra Tama Jaya Indo

“It looks like volumes this season will be similar to last season"

Citro Tama Agro are currently harvesting mangosteen from the Medan area of Java, Indonesia. They also grow the fruit in West Java, Central Java, East Java, Padang, Medan and Aceh.

"We harvest mangosteen from November-May on Java Island, July-October Padang, Aceh and Medan," explains Stevan Budi Susanto, CEO. "It looks like volumes this season will be similar to last season. We can supply around 80 tons per month."

The company's main export markets are China, Dubai and Europe for mangosteen and the United States, France, Japan and China for vanilla.

"Indonesia is of course not the only supplier of mangosteen, our fruit is similar to that from Thailand, its just that we can compete in terms of price. While we prioritise our main markets we are keen to move into new markets."

Citro Tama Agro also sell sweet fragrant mango under the Lakita Mango brand.
