Babé Farms adds three new members to sales team

Babé Farms announced that Martha Salgado has transitioned from the shipping department to the sales team as a sales coordinator. Since joining the sales team in February 2023, Salgado has used her three years of experience in shipping to enhance communication and organization in her new role. Salgado's background in managing truck shipments has been a huge benefit, helping the sales office run more smoothly. Her expertise has quickly made her a valued team member.

"Martha's shift to the sales team has been fantastic and smooth," said Ande Manos, director of sales at Babé Farms. "Her shipping experience has been a big help, and we're thrilled with the positive impact she's made."

Babé Farms also celebrates Lupita Calderon, a dedicated team member who has been with the company for 20 years. Since joining Babé Farms in February 2004, Calderon has made significant contributions across various departments, reflecting her commitment and versatility. She initially started her career in the HR/Accounting department, assisting with payroll and accounts payable, eventually becoming the farm safety coordinator. In January 2024, Calderon embraced a new challenge by transitioning to the sales side of Babé Farms. As a sales coordinator, she leverages her previous experience to strengthen quality assurance and streamline communication among harvest, shipping, and receiving.

"I am very grateful for the opportunities I've had at Babé Farms over the past 20 years. Each role has taught me so much, and I'm excited to bring my experience to the sales team," said Calderon.

Also, Sarah Grizzle, a recent graduate from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, is bringing youthful energy to the Babé Farms sales team as the new outside sales representative. As the liaison between the sales team and customers, Grizzle is eager to hit the road and engage directly with customers. Her commitment to customer service and relationship management will be very beneficial.

"I'm thrilled to start this new chapter and excited to be part of this company's growth," said Grizzle.

"We are thrilled to welcome Martha, Lupita, and Sarah to our sales team," said Manos. "Their diverse experiences and skills will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing success and help us better serve our customers."
