Azerbaijan's fruit and vegetable exports have experienced a noticeable decline in both volume and value during the first seven months of 2024.
According to calculations made by APA-Economics based on a report from the State Customs Committee, the country exported 368,549 tons of fruits and vegetables between January and July 2024, generating $383.86 million in revenue.
In the corresponding period last year, Azerbaijan exported 396,900 tons of fruits and vegetables, earning $400.12 million. The figures for 2024 represent a 7.2% reduction in volume, equivalent to 28,400 tons less, and a 4% drop in export value, amounting to a $16.3 million decrease.
