"It had to happen sometime. And so the decision has been made: Edfruit B.V. has closed its doors as of August 31," Ed Olivier wrote in a letter to his relations. "After many years in the AGF -trade and the last mainly in the berry sector, the time has come to stop. The time is ripe for a new generation and due to the lack of a successor, the only choice is to quit Edfruit B.V."
"That, I hope, will give me a few more years to start enjoying the other things life has in store for me, my wife and family. Along these lines, I would like to thank everyone for their trust. All is well with you, I hope," Ed Olivier concluded.
