Staay Food Group ushers in new season

First Brazilian melons in this week

"Recently, the first containers of our Dulce melons were loaded again in Brazil. This week (36), we are already starting the new season with Galia, yellow and watermelons. Cantaloupe and Piel de Sapo melons will follow shortly afterwards. Besides our house brand Dulce melons, melons will also be available under our Nero label," says Staay Food Group.

"Our regular growing partner in the Mossoro region (Rio Grande del Norte) in northeast Brazil has recently experienced very favourable weather conditions. As a result, the melons being shipped now are of excellent quality. Moreover, a strict selection during sorting and packing should guarantee this quality throughout the season - up to and including week 8. After that, colleagues from our own branch in Costa Rica take over again until about week 17."

"Throughout the year, Staay Food Group provides a direct supply from the cultivation site to the buyer. And several contracted shipping companies and transporters ensure continuity. Melons are available at both daily, weekly and contract prices. Customisation is also possible in terms of packaging; for example, in addition to monopallets, we can also deliver the melons on mix pallets. And besides packaging under our house brands Dulce and Nero Premium, we can also offer other options in consultation."
