Sainsburys sells the most apples by BAPL growers in the UK with 140 tonnes in August 2024

Every month, British Apples & Pears collates data from the British Apple & Pear growers on the quantity of British apples they sold to UK supermarkets. The latest data is below.

Note: Data is accurate at time of publication, but from time to time some data is received late from growers and these charts may be updated retrospectively.

Here's the same monthly data presented as a percentage of all British apples sold, by supermarkets (green line). The red line is a comparison data point of the grocery market share for that supermarket. It would be expected that the share of British apples sold would be about the same as the supermarket's grocery market share, but some are doing much better than others.
