Volcanic durian from Southern Thailand creates high demand

A unique volcanic durian from Trang province, southern Thailand, has sparked a year-long waitlist due to its exceptional taste and high demand. Grown on Saiyut Jannsawang's 15-rai plantation, this durian is praised for its creamy texture, rich flavor, and thin shell. Despite a 30% reduction in yield due to drought, the orchard still expects to produce 4,000-5,000 kilograms this season. With over 300 pre-orders, the volcanic durian is twice as delicious as the popular Monthong variety, making it a highly sought-after fruit. The farm employs organic practices and innovative grafting techniques.
