After a successful first edition with a focus on production control and planning, the activeIT event is entering its second 'Get Together Brunch' round on 17 October. This time, the focus will be on the import and ripening planning software FIPS.

The innovative system takes into account all processes relating to the planning, transport and ripening of tropical fruit and is used by users in England (SH Pratt) and Switzerland (Migros Luzern).

In addition to the focus on FIPS, there will also be a short presentation on the PECS production efficiency control system. PECS consultant Christopher Immervoll will be on hand to provide advice and support to new and existing users.
