The Aldi Süd 'Good for everyone' campaign is characterised, among other things, by freshly delivered fruit and vegetables for the customers every day. The food retail chain is therefore committed to even more freshness and quality along the supply chain and wants to strengthen the successful logistics concept of the fresh produce platforms by expanding it across the entire Aldi Süd region. The central bundling and efficient handling of the fruit and vegetable assortment at one location is already being realised by two operating fresh produce platforms - a third platform is already under construction near Mönchengladbach.
"We are now very pleased to announce that we will be expanding our network with a further location near Karlsruhe at the end of 2025. To this end, a property optimally equipped for the fruit and vegetables product area will be built exclusively according to our Aldi Süd requirements. As the operator of the new platform, we have been able to win over our long-standing partner Gemüsering Stuttgart, which is an experienced Aldi Süd supplier as well as a fruit trader and industry expert," says the food retail chain.

The new fresh produce platform will supply the five regional companies in Baden-Württemberg. Together with the platforms operated by the partners Fruchtimport vanWylick GmbH (FP Cologne) and Papp Logistics (FP Ginsheim-Gustavsburg and FP Niederrhein), a large part of the Aldi Süd region can already be supplied via a fresh produce platform from the end of 2025 and the concept for more quality and sustainability can take an important step forward. A detailed article on the concept and the opening of the platform in Cologne was shared in May 2023.
"For the future, we are planning to implement the fresh produce platform concept in Bavaria in the near future. All under the motto "DAILY FRESH. ALWAYS AFFORDABLE". For us, that's 'Good for eyerone'," the company concludes.
