In order to optimise efforts and resources, VPZ GmbH has merged the trading company, VPZ Verpackungszentrum GmbH, as the transferring company, with its sister company, Packnatur Entwicklungs- und Produktions GmbH, as the acquiring company. "Since 1 July, we have been called Packnatur GmbH and are concentrating entirely on our PacknaturĀ® net tubes," reports the Styrian company.

The creation of the international PacknaturĀ® brand paved the way. The trading company VPZ Verpackungszentrum in Graz, Austria, which specialises in compostable food packaging, financed the research and invested in setting up a production facility in Neudau in Eastern Styria. "The time was now ripe to take the next step into the future. The wide range of commercial products was transferred to partner companies to focus entirely on the international distribution of the in-house development, cellulose mesh tubes made from Lenzing fibres. Innovative cellulose netting specialities for a wide range of applications complete the company's field of activity," it continues.
In the meantime, Packnatur GmbH has built up a potential production capacity of over 60 million running metres. To be able to offer the constantly growing range of products required by the market, all the necessary technical equipment has been continuously invested in production. As a result, the company is ideally equipped for innovative product developments.
